There are always crazy people. Look how many people are shot every week in our big cities.

But we liberals are willing to take some risk to help people.

During the second world war, when Hitler was killing all the Jews, thousands of Jewish orphans were wandering the streets. They all had homes in Jewish families in the United States, but something like 96% of the people in United States were against allowing them to come over.

This is the kind of racism and insensitivity that I condemn.
