Road rage blamed in fatal shooting of Arkansas toddler John Bacon , USA TODAY 7:19 a.m. EST December 19, 2016 A manhunt was underway Monday in Little Rock after a 3-year-old boy was fatally shot in a road-rage encounter while on a shopping trip with his grandmother. Kim King-Macon, 47, told police she was driving her grandson to the local J.C. Penney store Saturday when she stopped at a stop sign. She said a man drove up behind her, apparently thought she was moving too slowly and honked his horn. She honked back and drove off. King-Macon told police the man stepped out of his car and fired one shot, according to the police report. She said she didn't realize her grandson was hit until she arrived at the store. The boy died at a hospital a short time later, police Lt. Steve McClanahan said. "Tonight's homicide was a road rage incident, the grandma and 3 year old victim are innocent and have no relationship w/ the suspect," police said on Twitter. Police were looking for an older black Chevrolet Impala being driven by a tall black man. They said a $20,000 reward would be offered for the arrest and conviction of the suspect in the shooting.
