Hi guys! I think this is a good thread, and I wish it can stay alive and active. I learned a lot on this thread, and over time made a good return using some of the ideas that people shared here.
For some time, I've been focusing on getting better at some simple trend following approaches. But that didn't stop me from using options. Right now, for example, I'm bullish the broad market - and I'm long SPY Feb calls, as means of adding a little leverage with limited risk. Will probably close them no later than early January - to reenter at a later time. Also, short weekly 198.50 DIA puts, which I expect to expire this Friday (and if I'm filled, that's OK too).
So, if y'all are still interested, let's see if we can keep this going! |
