Public schools and Universities are doing a better job of strict instruction of hard sciences (Math, Science, Technology) in the areas where low economy does not have a negative impact.

In all the other areas, they weave an oppressive intolerance regarding traditional American values of success and role models who've helped America achieve prominence in the world. It promotes egalitarianism as a concept but sometimes confuses the concept of "equality" with "the same." There is also a tendency to place more acceptance of differences even to the extent that they make kids ignore some calamitous results of entitlement attitudes. If you are a successful single woman, black, LGBT, Other minority, you should be celebrated. If you are a successful White man (or boy) you should be devalued. Mean while the tragedy simultaneously occurring in subgroupings should be ignored or denied. If you are a kid and you question any of this you are harassed or the victim of social opprobrium. You are taught to brow beat anyone who does not march in step. It's a generation standing on thin Ice but holding tightly to each other so as to not fall through. It works for the left but paralizes society and it's people.

The change we are witnessing is the cracking of thin ice.
