Just an update on the current SHORT INTEREST on OPTICAL CABLE STOCK. During the last period the SHORT INTEREST INCREASED an additional 3% or 24,700 shares, for a current total of 937,195 SHARES SOLD SHORT. This is good news for us long term holders. I heard a rumor that OCCF (Optical Cable Corp. stock), has been put on the non-shorting list. If this is true no more shares of OCCF will be allowed to be shorted. In a few weeks we will recieve a new SHORT INTEREST update, so we can see if this is true. I have not seen in any research that the CEO has sold any of his shares. We are now in a new year, LET THE SQEEZING BEGIN. '98 SHOULD BE A BANNER YEAR!!!!!!!! Phil
