well, her ideology is in the eye of the beholder... but how can you interpret it any different when her book was entitled "the virtue of selfishness" and she is on record for her disdain of altruism

and then the number of politicians who use her words to promote their selfishness, and ironically the majority of politicians who promote her selfishness are bible thumpers, while Rand was a devout atheist... but since most bible thumpers are monumental hypocrites they just love Ayn Rand for her selfish ideology
