To anyone:

Is there a term, technical or otherwise, that refers to deliberately
setting up a situation whereby that which will upset an individual or
provoke an individual to act in a certain way so that a grave accusation can be made against the individual?

For example, you walk into a store and are so rude to the clerk
until you get thrown out of the store. You do this intentionally
so that you can report this to the supervisor so that the clerk
gets in trouble or sacked.

What do you call it when the person who is being victimized does
not succumb to this provocation but acts most appropriately at
all times yet is accused of the things anyway.

What do you call people who act this way?
