I continue to worry about the future of the democrat party. Who will take the torch forward for this party? It seems they are just a bunch of old people - really old people. In four years Hillary will be what 73, Bernie will be ancient, Pelosi and Read will be older than ancient - whatever that term might be. Where are the young minds with energy and new ideas? The cause for this I think is that elite ideology that pushes down new ideas and energy and rewards those needing depends.

The republicans on the OTH, have just a bunch of young guys that will still be relatively young in four years; Ryan, Paul, Cruz - and others I think of as less likely to be successful. These guys all opposed Trump initially and they can always say in four years - I told you so. ...........Things might change of course, but for now it looks bleak for progressives.
