Hi guys,

I've not put on a sell to open since November.

Have a big bunch of puts expiring in January and have some smaller positions in feb, march, and June.

I did go and sell some F January 2017 $9.75 puts which would net me F just at $8.97.

F pays a 60 cent dividend has a low safety rating (as in good) and a lower payout of 33.15 - also low.

If put to me .60 dividend / $8.97 net purchase price yielding 6.69%.

the put sold for .78 and it was for 13/14 months so it wasn't a big yielder @ 7.5% on the cash held in the account.

It beats the heck out of a banks offering.

Like to second ski's desire to keep this thread open minded and active.

I'm watching the trend on this wild run up.

It is getting frothy as my second largest holding Brks is blasting up on over a 3 multiple of its normal volume.

It looks to me like semi's are exploding up as Ter is also blasting off.

My biggest holding Cohu seems to lag but even it is at 2 year highs.

So letting them run - but in all honesty it will be time to consider selling big fat juicy calls some time out into the future.

Certainly appreciate ski's capability in reading EW - I think it will be crucial in 2017.

Merry Christmas to all and Al I hope your move progresses easily and quickly.

Bob
