I agree with you. No one should be forced to breathe another's smoke. That said, however, when one enters the area of property rights, the issues become less clear.

I believe it should be up to the individual business owner as to what should be permitted in that establishment. This goes to basic Amierican rights--freedom of choice and property ownership. Therein lies one objection to some of the laws which have been implemented, that being they infringe property rights. My other objection is taxation without representation. Were I a nonsmoker my opinion would be the same.

Another objection and one which is due to be reviewed in the courts is that the law is haphazardly written. Its enforcement provisions are vague and catch as catch can, varying from county to county. Worse, it forces the business owner into the position of policing it or facing heavy fines.
