i believe some projects of civilisation-building cannot be done small, willy-nilly, stop-go, and event-by-event,

certain endeavors must be done big, organised, sustained, by thought-out process, albeit step by step

a sports meet may be a small example, and space exploration probably should be a big undertaking

i have great hopes for quantum everything, for once everything is speeded up, the previous impossibles become possibles, and possibles are good unless monopolised
