Tom, There's still time for ATVI to look at THQI, after reading the
thread over there, and if i was so inclined, THQI is a great short at this time. It looks like a secondary is on the horizon, and the shorts
smell blood in the water. I agree the two would make a great team, from what i've read, here, and on various web sites and boards, THQI
will be back in the 12 to 14 range. ATVI has 60 million at the moment
to spend. Santa Monica(ATVI) and Calabassas(THQI) are within earshot of eachother.
I agree it would be a great way to get into the console market, my
only question is, are console games still going to be big sellers?.
Last year was great, with the N64, but with Voodoo cards and PC's
going for less than 1k now,are the teenagers going to finally give
up on consoles? I haven't played any console games, don't know anybody
who does. I look at the demos at the stores and they look awful compared to a Voodoo Card.
Good news on Q2,and HG. I'm still playing Myth, awesome game!!!!, If
ATVI puts out a patch for Q2 for coop play, i'll probably pick it up.
I'm having a great time with the LAN i set up, so are the kids. The
only thing i want now is my Voodoo 2!!!!!!.
