I'll say one thing, you have thought that through-lol.

YES I think that is wrong... one two three months fine... but 30+ weeks ?

Perfect example.

I would say no abortion ought to be illegal for all the reasons I've been harping about today. Why 30 weeks or any other number of weeks?

People sometimes conflate illegal and immoral. They are not the same thing. It may or may not be immoral to abort at 30 weeks but that's not the point. It's who decides. Is the woman free to make a mistake or to do something that offends the conscience of others?

I would consider it immoral to abort a healthy, viable fetus without cause. I would say it is not immoral to abort under any circumstances to save the woman. I would say it is immoral to fail to abort at any time once discovered that the fetus is incompatible with life and would experience nothing but great suffering once born. Mercy is not immoral. But that's just me. I would further say that late term abortions are not common and most always done because something horrible has happened. And that the parties on the ground, the woman along with her medical team and any other interested parties, are in the best position to make the call. And we should accept her right to make it and tolerate whatever she decides.

There's no chance I will face that decision anytime soon. Some other woman's choice is none of my business. What makes it anyone else's business?
