TURKISH soldiers have entered the centre of strategically-vital al-Bab in northern Syria in a major blow to fanatical Islamic State as Ankara claimed to have killed more than 1,000 terrorists. Al-Bab had been surrounded by Turkish and Free Syrian Army forces in the last 24 hours and troops have now begun entering the centre of the city.
