the kids liked it. i had to work all during the trips and so enjoyed the work environment but worked
am partial to islands, where one can ruminate on the big worlds given internet, Skype, and such these days, and distance to allow perspective
the distance and quietude must be used properly, else one go tropo
si helps to avoid tropo-ism
the coconut liked the to & fro 2015 of thetis trip
the jack felt as if he was in a minecraft-esque scene
but liked having access to a real fire truck that apparently was necessary for our host, and was good jack saw how the country folks survived where there be fire hazards :0)
he wasn't quite used to the big empty, and did wonder, but had much time to wander
i liked what the daily prawn-trap inspections brought
... per living off the water routine
this year we visited whidbey and tofino islands

the pot is good benchmark
and benchmark is useful, like si dialogues are useful
to see how wrong some can be so as to make sure one is calibrated correctly
... anyway, 2016 visit tofino was very good
where one takes in hot cocoa and engages w/ fire place during the summer, and the surf sound is much closer to the bed than we are able to manage in hk
your proximate neighbourhood is where the coconut trains for dancing over the past two summers
