We need a smarter government. More transparent, locally to nationally. Less partisan regarding human rights and the role of government where the whole society benefits not just a few who have lawyers and lobbyists. Republicans want bigger and more opaque government; just different priorities than those they hate. Like protecting property and power, above human life and human rights. While not idealistically speaking, the Trump GOP is closer in style to the politics of the Soviets and the Red Guard than the masses want to admit. The swamp is about to become a tsunami; and the partisan cowards who used to be on all sides, are primarily on the right now.
