Thanks for taking my post with good humor. Just a few minutes after I posted that I decided I had been a little harsh.

I believe that you do have a good and valid point in your desire to keep this thread from getting too far off course. There's no question that this past few days' posts have been all over the map.

Another thing I believe is that it is important to not let negative statements which in my opinion are neither factual nor logical go unchallenged. I try to stick to responding to the statements themselves as much as possible, but I am only human.

Then again, when a poster repeatedly says things like "Iomega products are crap," as if that's an undisputed fact, eventually it becomes unnecessary to respond. Let every reader of this thread decide for him or herself which contributors are making sense.

I do think that this thread is an ongoing discussion revolving around a main theme, and like any discussion between people of diverse interests, it will not always stay completely centered. Nor should it, in my opinion.
