You keep adding stuff that isn't in the story to justify your defense of armed robbers. The story said none of the customers saw anything, meaning the shooter, it didn't say they didn't hear anything. My guess is they were scattered around the store and got down low when they heard a shot.

We don't know. Would depend on if they saw it go down.

Or in Texas isn't everyone packing?

In my zip code apparently about 10% of the population has a permit. Which isn't everyone. I don't for instance. But I don't go out late at night, mostly have everything I want or need in my neighborhood. And I don't need any permit in my home.

I'll repeat again ... simply not resisting a criminal doesn't mean you're safe. This woman was no threat to the robber but was shot in the back.
