Not getting into Bush v, Obama and given the media's enthrallment with Obama, you and I will likely be dead before the true history is written. Hopefully not. But it is easy to pose the question, "What were his accomplishments." Reality is that even the accomplishments were abject failures. There is simply nothing you can point to that the man didn't screw up. If he tried it, it either failed or the concept turned out be bad from the outset (I would point to one thing that might work out over time, which is the Cuba policy. But it'll probably end up being lousy like everything else).

And I just ask you to list substantial accomplishments which a majority agree on. I would recommend a two-column format like this:

WHAT HE DID...........................................THE POSITIVE EFFECT IT HAD

You won't need much paper for this assignment.
