The debt that is taking us down is that from Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare. That's why I call it the "Democrat's Debt." These programs were not Republican initiatives, Democrats have resisted all attempts at fixing them, and now it is too late unless Trump can get a hell of a lot of economic growth going.
So, yes, the debt belongs to the Democrats, although we're all stuck with the problem.
The truth is, though, adding Obamacare when they did was unconscionable. And were it not dying soon, it would quickly surpass the others for total incompetent mismanagement of taxpayer dollars. |
