I agree with all of that, I am a Bernie Bro. I voted for Bernie in our Democratic caucus. In fact 80% of the population of my little hamlet voted for Bernie. My entire clan contributed to his campaign and worked hard for him.

Had he won the nomination I believe he'd be president right now and he is a brilliant and principled man. And Elizabeth Warren would of been his right-hand woman and we would've been moving to the left very fast.

This is a travesty of monumental proportions. And on another thread several months before the vote, I implored all of the liberals to please do not consider Stein or Johnson or staying home, you have to vote and work for Hillary. Everyone should have been trying to stop Trump

What was amazing was how much resistance and even indignity I got from many liberals who felt that I was completely out of line for dissing Stein.

But to my point, given the situation before the election, Hillary was the nominee. She was a constant, for better or worse. But Stein was an independent variable who could have swung this race simply by putting her support behind Hillary. And selfish little traitor that she is, she couldn't forgo the ego high of her little band of merry makers and so she had to keep running telling everybody what a horrible person Hillary was along the way. That didn't help either. Stein compared Hillary to trump that's how loony she is.

Anyway, the point is, if she had quit when Trump was nominated realizing how dangerous he was Hillary would be president right now and the country would be moving to the left instead of into fascism land.

Hillary and her failures were not a controllable variable.

Not true. She could have decided to not run. I repeatedly stated that. But she felt entitled.

I will grant you she has some of the best qualifications of any candidate in a long time. But there are people who made a career of attacking the Clintons. And they are very good at it. They have spent decades making up stories about them with no basis in reality.

Again, she should have realized that and been prepared. If there was no way to prepare, and there probably wasn't, she should have not run. Hoping that they wouldn't come at her was not a plan.
