Hi Ryan.. .As you know, once everything calmed down over at Yahoo, and yours truly stopped seeing red and having smoke come out her ears...I got back on and tried to pick up some of the pertinent questions that someone could address at the meeting. Probably most of what a lot of us are feeling is nervousness from lack of news. I think I also included mention of that. Yes, news is what the stockholders deserve and need. And I know a lot of us are trying to give as much info as possible, including mine tours, pictures, etc., which has helped immensely and was appreciated...but I also know there is nothing that can take the place of hearing from the company itself. As far as the questions posed concerning a Canadian as an IR person. I wouldn't touch that.. but that doesn't mean someone won't address that too. But I felt that was way out of line. First off, I don't even know the relationship between the two. Whether or not he was one of the shareholders or long time business associate, or someone who knows something about mining. But I think its totally out place to start telling the CEO who to hire. We need news, but not hyped news. My company has 8 lawsuits against it to date...took a loss, shares dropped significantly...call their IR dept. and everything's just peachy!! But the mere suggestion that because he's Canadian he's dishonest is detestable, and is coming from the same guy who thinks if you're female, you're stupid...Get where I'm coming from!! He sounds very bigoted to me...Jim can hire who he wants, as long as the're doing their job. I hope this helps??? |
