That's interesting Josh, I had never heard of it before. This game mode must shut down some unnecessary applications and programs, but I have no idea which.

The game mode might be another selling point for windows, if it works OK. But I am not a windows user myself, and too old to be a gamer, so it is of no value to me. <g>
