I never done this before but my new computer is almost all set up ready to go. I am concerned about the hard drive failing. I was wondering if I cloned the entire drive and stored it on a external USB drive, if the drive failed, would the clone restore the new drive the same as the old one, all 3 partitions and all? Has anyone restored a Windows 7 clone to their computer?

I would be using True Image for this.
