| | | Pretty strange reason to criticize anyone. My wife shops there a lot, too. It is convenient, inexpensive, and what she doesn't want to buy there she buys somewhere else. You cannot deny they are a great service organization.
I just got new glasses and decided to buy them at Walmart, given my Opthalmologist's Rx. Around $400 with Nikon progressive lenses -- would have cost twice that anywhere else, I imagine. And they replace them, no questions asked if there is a problem (which in mine there was, since the Rx was wrong on the amount of prism required in one lens).
Yes, they sell some crap, and my wife closely watches to dodge non-USA items where possible. But it doesn't matter where you buy a can of soup and a case of cokes, other than the price, and it is a good reason to go there (also, if anyone else had it cheaper when you bought it, they refund the difference a few days later, which I think amounted to a couple hundred bucks to us for the last year). |
