Although AMSC is coming closer to profitability, based on operating revenues and costs, the single greatest variable for earnings is the outcome of the lawsuits involving their former Chinese customer. As far as I can see, there has been virtually no progress on these lawsuits during the past year, and the Chinese government and judicial system seem unwilling to let one of their own face any consequences when the plaintiff is a foreign company.
