ABX. I'm a buyer for a few shares of this gold producer. I like that new management has come in and is reducing long-term debt with a view to eliminating it. Company is selling off "non core" assets to do this.
ABX producing costs and all-in costs seem to be relatively low (so I read); otoh, gold prices keep falling and if interest rates rise, production costs increase (I presume), and those higher interest rates become more attractive for savers over holding gold/gold stocks (I also presume). If there's international turmoil as a result of the new US president and his administration's policies, gold could quickly come back in favor (maybe) and gold stocks could surge (possibly - or not).
