baby takes on rights

Takes them on from where? Says who?

It makes it difficult for large numbers of society to rationalize the taking of a life for convenience.

It's been a while since I encountered that "convenience" dismissal. How can you trivialize that decision as convenience? The bus running late is an inconvenience. Having children you don't want is life altering big time. What gives those in society you speak of the right to impose their 20-week judgment on someone else, particularly on someone ill equipped who has to live with it for at least 20 years with the consequences?

We have been having some discussion on this thread regarding rights and where they come from. Where are you finding the right you claim? Thin air?

Otherwise you're gonna be a mommy.

To shift gears, how is it good public policy to hand child rearing over to women who want no part of it? And how is it good public policy to add more unwanted children onto our rolls?
