1/3/17 Contest update
My final count has 48 portfolios participating in the 2017 Biotech Charity Contest!
Welcome to all the Contest newcomers and loyal oldtimers.
Although 48 portfolios is a bit lower than the record 58 in 2016, I expected even more of a drop-off after the dismal performance of biotechs last year -- definitely one of the most frustrating for biotech investors.
I’ll post all 48 portfolios as well as the different stocks selected (about 200) as soon as I get my spreadsheets set up. Hopefully, by tomorrow.
On a personal note, I much appreciate your thanks for my Contest scorekeeping efforts and your contributions to the East Bay College Fund. (An email to me from EBCF earlier today noted they’ve already received $1,075 in 2016 Contest-related donations.)
