Any person who believes that Washington politicians are not acting in accordance with what they believe is best for the public is cynical. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are easily the worst politicians in DC, yet, they both believe their actions are in the American interests. They are both horrible people, they are dead wrong, but they believe they're helping.

Cynicsm can be one of the worst characteristics in a person in that it degenerates to assuming the worst in other people. We have to understand that government is inherently bad, but politicians are not. Some may be, but they usually don't stick around.

Yes, Koan is cynical as hell. But he is also stupid as hell.
