I think the Democrats are getting played again.


In this generation of Tea Party politics...

Democrats, liberals,

AND all less affluent and less privileged ilks -- aka the 99%

Are ALWAYS being played.

In a rare criticism of his own ilk, Cautious Optimist sez:

We usually focus our energy on what could be, and "why not?"

We take our eyes off the "why?" We look beyond what is, what the people have been told/sold about history.

They play the mainstream media and their own non-fact media machine as useful idiots. And the lies get traction (like the war on Santa Claus; btw who is white according to Megyn Kelly.)

As they frame the left and current economic conditions to their propaganda -- killing us in the world of "what is."

We must be more aggressive in keeping the lights on what is to the TRUTH and relativity of how bad the republican right would have been now.

This was Obama's Achilles heel. He did not combat the RNC (and usual special interest suspects) memes that blamed all current global and local negatives on the liberals.

#1 was the fact that it was same Republican policies that gave us the devastated economy of the S&Ls in late 1980's and Wall Street/Banks in Bush's final year. THE SAME POLICIES THAT ARE ADVOCATED BY THE NEW CABINET APPOINTMENTS AND THE HOUSE. #2 was the criminals running secretive tragic foreign policy in Republican administrations.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Republican = FUBAR

Newly elected Democrats, and "bureaucrats" get blamed and smeared up while saving the ship and trying to create progress.

New Teflon Republicans = FUBAR again

Repeat cycle.
