His wheat may be further out in a sense than his beard, but not to me in a very important sense that's extremely relevant to determining what the government should control.

You do realize, don't you, that I am not disagreeing with you re the wheat grower? I, too, consider that to be overreach.

You and I are both fastidious about rights. Hardly anyone cares about that topic at all. I see us as kindred spirits in that regard. So when we read a particular scenario differently, I am always interested in your rationale. There aren't a lot of people you can ask for a read because they have never given the subject a moment's thought.

I still consider the right to intimate association more essential, meaning closer to one's essence, than the right to not just own property but to choose how to utilize one's property. You have given me nothing to persuade me otherwise.
