Re post abortion depression.. I have a step daughter that had one at 16. Observing her, as her step dad, 2 daughters and 10 years later I would beg to differ with your opinion. She found a way to deal with it by being a surrogate... twice. Both times she gave birth to twins and, as a result, has true extended families and the ability to feel (clearly my own opinion) some relief of guilt from her earlier decision.

I'm glad that worked out for her in the end.

Not sure, though, what your point is. How do you see that scenario informing public policy?
