Nope, take as an example Italian Swiss or German small to medium family companies (same possible in other countries) - to not expand beyond your means, re-invent yourself or your business model constantly, be flexible and keep business integrity.

Any business that rely on debt to expand does it fabulously with sales growing, until a certain size then the bean counters step in with the "financial advisers" attorneys and all kind of related crap, and destroy the company as the founders lost control of their destiny and have no flexibility.
