Good point - if the Russians had some serious "goods" on HRC, they may have planned to release some now, but to keep the more serious material - to use for leverage later.

Also, I doubt that whatever the Russians may - or may not - have, wasn't also obtained by other gov - and non-gov - hackers. For haven's sake, it's easy to forget -- HRC used an unprotected home server! - and Podesta used the word "password" for password!.. The DNC probably wasn't too impenetrable either. And HRC wasn't even "sanctioned" - she enjoyed to the (bitter) end the full support of the Dems - and Libs in general, including our FakeStream media.
