There are certain thing I can smell really well- like from yards away. I bet you're right about super tasting and smelling going together, since most taste is really smell.

Doritos and coke was one of MY favorite things- though I do love cheetos- can't have them now, and not for the last many many years, because of my allergy to corn. Eggs are actually super good for you. They got a bad rap, like butter and cheese- which all are probably very good for you. We evolved with them in our diet (but not coke and cheetos :-)

I think a diet rich in fruits and veggies, nuts and grains, with meat and dairy in limited quantities as a "seasoning" and lots of fresh and dried spices, is the best for me. I feel good when I eat the way I do (even with that sugar in my tea...) We rarely eat after 6pm though- because I used to have heartburn, until I modified my diet. My theory is, that after 10+ years barfing all the time, from the corn I was eating, my esophageal sphincter got loosened up a little too much- and so I have to have the stomach fairly well cleared out before I lie down. Of course my doctor just wanted to throw some pills at me, but I control it with romaine lettuce after my meal and eating early, and light. Breakfast is my largest meal, not dinner- unless we're going out.
