Cheryl, today I had a opportunity to talk to a operating engineer who works at (runs) Three Mile Island. I asked him about the companys Y-2000 problems. I will never forget living through the possible hydrogen bubble explosion, to what in fact did turn into a partial meltdown, that THANK GOD. was contained. He said the company brought in a outside firm to work on their remediation two years ago. He was not involved with their work, but said the cost was astronomical,

Back then a Uncle in the family who worked at Three Mile Island called us, and said leave. Go far, go North (the winds) and don't stop till we get to Conneticut, The whole time he was urging us to go, the power company and the government was announcing we were all safe, it was under control. He said that was bullshit, they had no idea what was going to happen. They did not want to cause a panic.
