The Singularity is more like 30 years from now [already partly done] than 30,000 years and that will affect even us, let alone now-living descendants.

Several decades ago while reading Donald Duck comics I found that luck can be made - Gladstone Gander [GG] was my role model in that regard. It works. In recent years I read psychological studies that show that indeed lucky people are actually lucky and it's their availability that makes them lucky. They don't have blinders on, goals and intense purpose.

Other excellent role models were Gyro Gearloose [GG also] who taught me about inventions, science and all that, Uncle Scrooge who provided excellent financial instruction, Donald Duck the Homer Simpson side of life and the nephews Huey Dewey and Louie who went on great adventures.

Luck and brains = essential ingredients. I don't buy TJ's "We're all the same at birth - we're all just ordinary same as everyone else". But viewed from afar, the similarities are much greater than the differences. On a cognitive scale of 0 to 100, humans range from about 0.99 1.01.

You are wrong - we agree on that << Name one thing on which we disagree. You like Lindy's Thread Politics for Pros (Good Thread) Better than Say a Sioux Nation in your opinion where I am more comfy :)) >> I am more comfy at PfP than in the LLL streams [assuming Sioux Nation is one of those - I haven't even read it but I take your word for it. So we agree that you are more comfy at Sioux Nation and I'm more comfy at Politics for Pros. Name one other thing on which you mistakenly think we disagree.

I'm more incorrigible now than a couple of years ago. I'm more intolerant of loony ideas such as vegetarianism. << you are as incorrigible as ever >>
