This struck a chord with me and sent a USB to SATA adapter to Carolyn.

Main thing is that it will allow her to make a clone before opening her desktop computer.

Moving cables around inside a computer probably isn't for novices.

Sweet Ol may also consider an adapter. Better to keep it simple. :)
