I wouldn't be surprised to find that Intel keeps the .35um process alive
even at the end of '98 ... they are the low cost producer and I bet you
are right about depreciation falling off the books because Intel started
their .35um process about 2 years ahead of everyone else.

Newest rumor (Maybe you have already heard) is that Intel's newest
Fab (Fab 17 - the Digital Fab) will be outfit by "copy exactly" for
.25um production. Not sure when it will be operational/certified.

I just love all this "good news".
