Paul, Re -- HP to Introduce $799 Pentium MMX/200 PC.. Cyrix and AMD will not be able to maintain this level of pricing. In a couple of months the 233 Mhz pentium will be priced at this level. The MediaGX wouldn't have reached the 233 Mhz, and AMD's K6 to be priced at this levels will have to sold much below cost (given AMD's yields). Furthermore with the redesign for the sub-500 and sub-1000 PC's, AMD and Cyrix will be left still further behind the low price treadmill. Stockman
