Oh boy, you go way back. When I was playing with tin foil on antennas, we didn't even have a team here in Boston. Football fans here considered the NY Giants their home team. And to this day, there are old folks around who still love the Giants.

The immaculate reception was the turning point for the Steelers and put them on the national map. Those great teams of the 70s and the continued excellence all these years has resulted in a bit of a national following. As for Tomlin, he has the wins and the championships. But sometimes I wonder about him when he can't manage a clock or makes some other sideline coaching error.
