I've been told from a trader at the scottrade desk that if you place an order for all or nothing it moves the order to the back of the que. All open orders without that restriction get placed before your all or nothing.

I never use it and on occasion get burned with a partial fill.

If I get a partial I add the part not filled on the next buy order - it works out OK imo.
