Saw this little blurb:
Trump, AT&T CEO discussed jobs, not Time Warner deal -Trump spokesman WASHINGTON,
Jan 13 (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's meeting with AT&T Inc's chief executive this week focused on job creation and government regulations, not the company's planned merger with Time Warner Inc, Trump spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters on Friday.
Have to admit I don't follow mergers and acquisitions too closely, so I don't know how far the deal has gone or what it involves. But it raises a question: Doesn't Time Warner own CNN? Then I wondered, Is that why Acosta is trying to make nice with Trump? Can TW dump CNN and have them join Al Jeezera and others in the dustbin?
