Russia is a real witch hunt right now

Recently - I think it was posted here - there was an article about 1983 military exercises, which almost caused a world war. The NATO side played the scenario of what would happen if the Soviets attacked -- while the Soviets watched closely how THEIR own nightmare scenario was becoming reality, and were certain that NATO is preparing a nuclear strike.

Bottom line - the world almost stumbled into an Armageddon - because of sheer stupidity and paranoia. It may take a lot less than we think. 1983 could have been the last year of all of ours lives, and for no good reason.

When Rubio demands that Tillerson call Putin a war criminal, he - Rubio - is being a complete moron. HOW could Tillerson say such a thing, and a week later have to deal with Russia on serious issues? He would have effectively castrated himself as a Sec of State. What could be more idiotic??

And, take a look from the other side - what would you think about all this if you were a Russian? A) you would be very worried, and B) you would approve of any additional military expense and effort by Putin government.

The only people who would be happy about escalation are idiots and crazies.
