Thanks for the post re sub $800 Intel PC from HP.

WSJ quoted the executive in charge of HP's consumer division as follows:

"While both Cyrix and AMD have met demands for their chips to date, Mr. McKinney said their ability to provide massive volumes of low-end chips for H-P is still untested, while Intel's capacity as a supplier is well-proven."

Where have we heard this before?
