I suspect the best thing to come from a Trump presidency is the sudden realization throughout America that just any fool like Trump can easily be elected president without prior government service. Talk about social mobility ! The grandson of a pimp is going to be president of the United States !

Previously there was a sense you needed to hold at least one prior government position (Governor, Senator etc) before you could be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. Trump has revealed that prior experience and even basic competence no longer matter to most people.

There's clearly a lot of people like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook who are now arranging their lives and rewriting their business contracts to leave them the freedom to serve in government. If Trump can be elected on the strength of fake news stories on Facebook, who could be in a stronger position than a person who controls Facebook - or Google ? In a nation of more than 300 million the list is endless. LOL

There's a lot of very successful Americans, those bart calls establishment-bots, who now realize they could just as easily be elected president and in the opinion of themselves and their friends they would be far more competent than Trump. Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Jeff Bezos ! Trump has opened up the field.

Future elections will likely offer up far more refreshing and competent choices than we saw in this last election where a failed businessman / reality TV personality like Trump could easily blow away the tired freak show of competing politicians.
