Bill,Off topic...
Thanks. I could not access that url but I found what I was looking for. I also have the "free" OPTIONS book from the CBOE.OK for a quick reference but their site has most of the explanations.Lacking a mechanical system I can only "guess" a buy or sell...no partials.
What I cannot figure out is how much of a leading indicator can the VIX be in most cases.Intraday Trin charts have helped me alot but I have not figured out how to incorporate the VIX other than in the crudest fashion....a spike=bearish.I have not found good info yet explaining trigger points for the mentally challenged, like me!:)
Should be an interesting week!
Regards,
Barbara
PS.One obvious but interesting point made on the CBOE page was you want to buy when the premiums are lower...that is making a better case for buying puts soon.
