They mentioned on the broadcast that KC had a "bend but don't break" defense that had set some sort of record for the least points given the number of yards against them. Gotta feel bad for Andy Reid tonight. He played to win, not to not lose, by going for it twice on fourth down and making it. Hard to tell if the hold on the two-point conversion prevented a sack, but it's still a terrible way to lose a playoff game. But also give credit to Mike Tomlin for trusting Big Ben enough to let him throw the ball twice when most coaches would be running the ball up the middle three times with the only goal of not fumbling.

Watching Rogers, Brady, Rothelesbergermeister (sp) play all these years has sure been a privilege. Prescott really really impressed me tonight as well. And if you are into QBR, Matt Ryan tops them all. Wow.

I've not seen Rivers play too much, but Eli's team accomplishments are undeniably better. Stat-wise it is pretty close. It depends on how you weight stats. Personally, I think the most reliable stat is the number of times a QB makes a "dammit, not again face". I used to track them for Eli but ran out of notebooks.
