High grade silica sand? Fluffy the Putput says we have high grade silica sand as a by product I suspect?
Now if for the first 10 years we are mining the east flute and the grade there is averaging 5.6 % that would leave 94.4 % in silica. If we mine 3,000 tonnes per day X 350 days = 991,200 tonnes of silica. The average price of $ 75.00 per tonne USD X 1.31 exchange that's $ 97.4 million Cad. on silica.
Now if the cost to process to 99.96 % is $ 1,800.00 USD per tonne X 30,000 tonnes = $ 54.0 million or $ 70.74 million Cad.
Now that leaves plus 26.0 cad million. Oh my? Nice dividend. Not bad from tailings.
What would they use this silica for solar panels maybe. Or rear view mirrors for unsavy investors maybe?
Oh by the way the processing cost has already been accounted for.
TTT how much do you think Takata good will is worth these days after the billion dollar fine they received for the airbag scandal? I think I know a few airbags that might be interested in taking over that company. IMHO musky
